1/2 cup creamy almond butter (or peanut butter) 1/3 cup honey 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup old-fashioned oats (raw) 1/2 cup ground flaxseed (or chai seed, or hemp seed) 6 Tbsp chocolate chips (mini prefered)
1/4 cup nuts (crushed cashews, walnuts or almonds)
- In a mixing bowl, stir together almond butter, honey and vanilla.
- Add remaining ingredients and stir until evenly coated.
- Transfer mixture to refrigerator or freezer and chill until set (makes it easier to handle).
- Remove from refrigerator and shape into 1-inch balls.
Additions: The great thing about this no-bake recipe is that you can edit the ingredients to include your favorite healthy items. Add a handful of coconut, different types of nuts, or change up your sugerfood seeds - ground flaxseed, whole hemp seed.
